MARDIN (DIHA) – Teachers Trade Union (Egitim Sen) Kiziltepe Branch decorated the district by the pictures of children who were beaten or harassed by police.
Activities began in the context of 23 April, Children Holiday in Turkey. Trade unions, parties, human and women rights organizations as well as children rights organizations approach critical way to the Children Holiday since children are the victims of police violence and Anti-Terror Act in Turkey.
In the context of critical approach to 23 April, Egitim Sen Kiziltepe Branch decorated the district by the pictures of children who were beaten or harassed by police.
“Those children who cannot celebrate Children Holiday” was written on posters prepared by teacher trade union Kiziltepe Branch. There is also picture of 14 year-old Ceylan Önkol who had been killed by the soldiers’ howitzer.
