MARDIN (DIHA) – Two unidentified persons were killed by police’s cross fire in a shack in Kiziltepe district of Mardin related armed attack at the police department that a police had been killed. The police forces had been began the operation fallowing the attack.
According to information obtained Police from Mardin Police Department surrounded a shack in Kiziltepe then opened fire. Two suspected persons were killed during the police’s cross fire.
There was an armed attack at Kızıltepe Police Department in Mardin and 3 people including 2 polices had been injured. Police officer Ömer Akcan had been badly hurt and his life couldn’t be saved even though medical attention. Two other wounded officers heath status is stable. Police had begun the large scale operation in and around city.
Officer Ömer Akcan’s funeral is going to be today in front of Mardin Police Department and the body will send to Gaziantep where is his birth place.
On the other hand, two persons have been taken into custody related armed attack at Police Department. The enters and exits of city are still under police control.
