DİYARBAKIR (DİHA) – The Peace Mothers and Kurdish artists showed the addressee to sit around table about peaceful solution of Kurdish question. According to mothers and artists only addressee to speak about Kurdish problem is PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Remaining a short time for extended non-conflict term of PKK the peaceful solution of Kurdish problem is still being discussed among intellectuals, politicians, activist, as well as artists in Turkey. The Peace Mothers and Kurdish artists also involved in the discussions and according to their common opinion PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan is the person who has to be spoken with to develop democratic solution over Kurdish problem.
Şilan, singer in Mesopotamia Culture Centre or MKM spoke to DİHA; The non-conflict period time is running out. I believe Kurdish side did what has to be done about peace. We forgot how many times cease fire had been announced by Kurdish side. The hand bestowed for peace has to be held before too late. There is no way to keep on killing, torturing or taking under oppression of Kurds. Kurds are not the same. The operations need to be ended to develop dialog.
‘Öcalan, PKK and DTP are the addressees to speak to”
Actrist Bülent Turan; The government needs to understand that Öcalan, PKK and DTP are the addressees to speak with to find a peaceful way to solve the problem. The project of the Democratic Autonomy is the most acceptable project. Other wise call on Kurds to give up or lay down the guns is not solution.
Actrist Xanemîr; the state is in confusion about Kurdish problem even though some certain indications about the addressee. 30 years isn’t enough for fight. We need a step to be taken. We want to live as free citizen with our own identification. Kurdish people’s free will showed us that the Project of the Democratic Autonomy is the best for Kurds.
One of Peace Mothers Nezahat Teke; We pay respect anybody who is supporter of peace. The names are not matter. Because of this president Abdullah Gül’s saying created hope for peace. We will keep on asking peace and say ‘stop the bleeding’ again and again unless the peace comes true
