BATMAN (DİHA) – Women in Batman marched to support KCK’s decision to expand non-conflict term until September first and conveyed their demand related peace to head of AKP Batman province Ziver Özdemir. Women asked answer for non-conflict term and step for peace.
Supports for KCK’s extension decision until September first continue. Women from Initiative of Peace Mother and MEYA-DER have organized a march to convey their demand to AKP in Batman. 5 representatives of women meet with head of AKP Batman province and explained their demand such as the state has to hold KCK’s hand for peace and take a step for peace.
‘Stop the bleeding for 30 years’
Women who met with Ziver Özdemir said that stop the bleeding which continues for 30 years and cost 40 lives. They also said that permanent peace has to be provided. The women committee evaluated the meeting as positive.
