TUNCELİ (DİHA) - Thousands women will meet in Tunceli on first March to launch 8 March International Women Day. According to the information obtained Leyla Zana will be attend in this meeting as well.
Songül Abdil, Mayor of Tunceli, called on women around Turkey to appear in the meeting on first March to show their power and claim their demand in the open areas and celebrate 8 March International Women Day as it deserved.
Common slogan will be “Our Honor is Our Freedom” during the all women week and supported women from all around Turkey.
Edibe Şahin, DTP’s mayoral candidate for Tunceli also marked the importance of the meeting and invited women for the meeting. She said; “we need to feed this enthusiasm by our participation.”
There are also other schedules are announced for 8 March International Women Day for Şırnak, Mersin and Diyarbakır by women organization. Activities include concerts, meetings, march, panels, plays and movie shows.
