SIIRT (DIHA) - Resident of the Cal neighborhood of Siirt, Leyla A. (18) was found as she attempted to commit suicide.

According to information obtained, 18-year old Leyla A., resident of the Cal neighborhood in Siirt province, hung herself with a rope from an iron bar on the balcony of her home in the morning hours. Her mother noticed her, removed her from the rope, then took her to the Siirt State Hospital with the help of people in the area. Leyla A. was treated there first, then transferred to the Dicle University Medical Hospital as her condition was serious.

Leyla A. had become engaged about 3 months ago, it was learned.
