MERSİN (DİHA) -The members of Mersin Women Platfom who walked to in front of AK Party City Organizations had made up lively scenes with their traditional cloths and tambours. The women voiced their demands in Kurdish, Turkish and Arabic with a statement.
The members of Women platform who came together in front of Mersin Branch of IHD walked in front of the AK Party Mersin City Organization building with banner writing '' We will not allow war and carnage of women''. The women who made up lively scenes during the march with traditional clothes and tambours chanted '' We will not be honor of anybody'', '' We are Kurd, women and in favor of peace'', '' women, life and freedom'', " Women don't want war" and "viva 8 march"
While the women were carrying mottos as " The murder is not custom", " no life without sun", the warning of Mersin Security Directorate as not to shout slogans and to get down the mottos led to tension some time.

The members of platform who reached to AK Party City organization had read the written text of press in Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish. Hediye Bakrak who read the Kurdish statement by stating that by 1910, 8 march has become symbol of rebel of women said that the women still work in the condition of 1800s. Bakrak who reminded those women who had losed their live in the fire in factory of textile in Bursa and those workers of agriculture who losed their live in the accident of train in Tarsus said that the women are still being worked without insurance, with low payments, without membership in trade union and in conditions harmful to women health. Bakrak who said that many women were exposed to rapes, had lost their lives and their associates in the wars across the world said that in Turkey women are exposed to torture for their identities.
Bakrak who took attention to difficulties Kurdish women live said that '' the isolation , denial, annihilation and assimilation imposed on Kurdish people had hit mostly women. The Kurdish women whose language was banned by militarist forces and rural guards have been forced to poverty for years, to hunger and immigration and exposed to rapes." Bakrak wanted from authorities to give attention the demands of women.
