DIYARBAKIR (DIHA) – A grave was found in Yalaza (Kerwas) village in Lice district of Diyarbakir. Sources state that the grave belongs to two Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members killed in 1998.
According to locals, there was a conflict in 1998 around the Yalaza Village and two PKK members lost their life. Then, their bodies were left on the grounds of the violence.
The village residents buried them since no authority came to take or burry them. Villagers marked the grave in order to prevent the memory of those killed from being lost.
