Eylem Demirpence bid farewell on the women’s shoulders 18:31 20.07.2010

NEWSCENTRE- (DIHA)- Eylem Demirpençe (Hebun Azad) in Mazgirt district of Dersim (Tunceli)and Yasin Ozmen (Kemal Urfa) in Kavalık (Qewalıx) Village of Hilvan district of Sanliurfa, two of the 10 Kurds who lost their lives in the clashes that took place in Pervari district of Siirt province on 30 June, have been buried accompanied thousands of participants. On the other hand, other families are still waiting in front of Siirt Hospital to take the bodies for funerals while family of Hamit Tekbudak (Fikret Van) who had been killed during the clashes in Beytussebap district of Sirnak on July 5th and buried without his family’s permission set off toward Sirnak to take the body.
Firstly Eylem Demirpence’s body has been taken from hospital and sent to Dersim, where she comes from and her last farewell was on the women’s shoulders. Women carried the coffin covered by flowers as well as yellow-red-green flags and chanted the slogans during the funeral.
Demirpence’s mother and sisters, who cannot see the body since it was burned, lamented in Kurdish for their lost. Fallowing a moment of silence, thousands fulfilled the religious duties.


Yasin Ozmen (Kemal Urfa) in Kavalık (Qewalıx) Village of Hilvan district of Sanliurfa has been also bid farewell accompanied by thousands of participants including deputies and executives from Peace and Democracy Party (BDP), members from women associations and MEYA-DER, mayors.
However, family of Hamit Tekbudak (Fikret Van) who had been killed during the clashes in Beytussebap district of Sirnak on July 5th and buried without his family’s permission set off toward Sirnak to take the body. BDP deputies and managers are supporting the family.
