Boycott Front works enthusiastically
NEWSCENTRE (DIHA) There are numerous meeting to call on voters to boycott the referendum of amendment of the constitution. Turkey became a huge meeting area since organizations and parties who are in favor of boycott began work to strength boycott side of Turkey under name of “Boycott Front which includes more than hundred organizations and leftist parties including BDP.
One soldier dead 2 others injured in Ordu
Ambush on gendarmerie team in Akkus district of Ordu on the Black Sea coast left one soldier dead and two others injured. The injured soldiers are said to be in critical condition. Soldiers in critical condition were taken to University Hospital in Samsun.
One police officer dead in Eruh
Military bases in Eruh district of Siirt was attack at midnight hours. According to information obtained from Turkish officials one special force police died and three others injured. Local sources said that the number of the casualties might increase while three HPG members’ bodies are kept in the city hospital morgue. The clashes and military operations continue.
New investigation against mayor of Diyarbakir
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has open an investigation against Diyarbakır Mayor Osman Baydemir who said during the conference that “TBMM (Grand National Assembly of Turkey) will exist but there will also exist a parliament in Marmara, besides there will exist a Kurdistan Parliament. Against the ‘National Unity Project’ of Prime Minister Erdoğan, we regard the Democratic Autonomy Project as ‘National Unity Project’ .”
One more prisoner is on death way
Prisoner Yusuf Akbaba, is not released despite his official medical report which says he needs to be treated outside instead of prison since his health situation is in critical condition and being in prison might be reason of his death. Akbaba is still in Eskisehir H Type Prison and there is no drug given to him for cure.
Forest fires continue but no one cares
Cudi, Gabar and Besta Mountains are still burning and authorities doing nothing to extinguish it. Various NGOs and vocational organizations held meetings to claim the government and demand to extinguish the ongoing fires. Those fires all broke out because of military operations on the mountains.
Once again, police beat a child in Van
13 year-old İ.S has been beaten by police following clashes between polis and demonstrators who were making call for boycott in Van. All beaten issue was recorded and broadcasted on some TV channels. According to İ.S. five police officers beat him without any mercy.
BDP members and executives taken into custody in Adıyaman
6 individuals including BDP manager İsmet Leblebici and members Abu Akın, Haşim Akgün and Emrah Akbaba were taken arrested following midnight house raids of police in Adıyaman. It was reported that the detainees were taken to the Adıyaman Police Department.
