NEWS CENTRE (DİHA) - Islamist author İhsan Eliaçık criticized the Prime Minister, who said "We are bringing up a youth who is faithful", in a television programme in Habertürk. Eliaçık said, "The nationalists and BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) supporters are going through what we have gone through after the February 28 incident [attempt of military coup to intimidate Islamists]. I am calling to the government. Your way is no good. You will fall upside down."
Eliaçık added "It is not the government's duty to transform people. You are responsible for paving the way for the people; the people will bring up their children the way they want."
