ANKARA (DİHA) – DTP Diyarbakır deputy Aysel Tuğluk gave the written question due to search the deaths in prisons in where 18 prisoners are about to die.
Democratic and Society Party or DTP Diyarbakır deputy Aysel Tuğluk gave asked the Grand National Assembly of Turkey or TBMM; what has been done abut prisoners who are in deathbed.
Fallowing prisoner İsmet Ablak’s death in prison because of cancer, other seriously ill prisoners’ situation became on the agenda in Turkey. DTP deputy Tuğluk asked the Assembly ‘if there is anything has been done for seriously ill prisoners or what is being expected, deaths of prisoners?’ Tuğluk said pass practice about prisoners is just fallowing September 12 coup d’etat road which was “are we going to feed prisoners instead of hanging them?”
Referring prisoner İsmet Ablak situation who had died during his waiting process for release because of health reason Tuğluk said 6 prisoners died in the prison like Ablak and 18 prisoners are in the same situation start from Güler Zere, such as Samet Çelik, Aynur Epli, Bekir Şimşek, Erol Zavar, Gazi Dağ, Gülezar Akın, Halil Güneş, Halil Yıldız, İnayet Mete, İsmet Ayaz, Menduh Kılıç, Nizamettin Akar, Yusuf Kaplan, İzzet Turan, Mustafa Gök, Nesimi Kalkan, Rasim Aşan, Yasin Güngör, Remzi Aydın.
Tuğluk also asked the Ministry of Justice that what was happened about seriously ill prisoners.
*Are they being stated by the ministry?
*If so what will be happened about their situation.
*What kind of treatments are going to provide for them?
*Is there any investigation about Medical Forensic
Institute which signed a lot of controversial reports?
*Will president use amnesty right for heavily sick
prisoners, as he used for generals? Is there any investigation about Ablak’s death?
