One soldier killed, another injured in Van

VAN (DIHA) - One soldier was killed and another one was wounded in an explosion in Gurpinar district in Van last night as the Turkish army executes the third day of its military operations against the People’s Defence Forces (HPG), said officials.
Though officials claim that a land mine was to blame for the death of HPG members, the group itself has yet to issue a statement.
The operation in Norduz region of Gurpinar involved special forces. The operation then allegedly extended around Ongün (Aşxan), Geçerli (Melkoşk), Kapıdağ (Sipindar), Dağseven (Şivreş) villages.
