ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - The Governorship of Şırnak has banned the petition campaign for the four basic demands of the Kurds, confiscating the signature stands in Şırnak today.
The four basic demands supported by Kurdish political parties and institutions consist of the inclusion of the right to education in mother tongue, a political status for the Kurds, the right to politically organize and the recognition of the Kurdish identity in the New Constitution. The campaign had been banned by several governorships including Diyarbakır and Urfa.
