MERSİN (DİHA) – 246 Workers working for Toros Agricultural Corporations within Tekfen Holding went on strike when the negotiations haven’t been arrived at a conclusion in Mersin.
Banner to announce the strike has been hung by 246 workers in front of workplace for two factories belong to Toros Agricultural Corporations where there had already had 5 strikes since 80 coup.
Strikers who are members of Petrol-İş Trade Union Mersin Branch asking wage increase in rate of inflation and some more social rights while employer asking them to accept zero increase for their monthly wage as well as social rights.
Trade Union representative said that; strike is our right which worker can use when they need. Strike also honor for workers who are going to continue it until it is ended with good consequences.
