HABER MERKEZİ (DİHA) – Protests against detainee operations on KESK have been continuing by different kinds of activities such as keep watch actions, marches and sit-in acts in all around Turkey.
Member of KESK in Van, Hakkari, Bitlis and Tatvan have stand watch all night in KESK buildings to protest detainee operations on KESK and to demand arrested KESK members’ freedom.
As it known 14 members of KESK have been arrested fallowing custodies during police and gendarmerie’ simultaneously raids on their houses and work places in five cities such as İzmir, İstanbul, Ankara, Mersin and Adana.
Kesk members’ all night stand watch actions have been visited by DTP managers, mayors, the Human Rights Association or IHD managers and some other trade union representatives, pro-Kurdish association KURDİ DER and the numerous activists in Van, Hakkari, Bitlis and Tatvan.
