İSTANBUL (DİHA) - The Confederation of Public Employees' Unions (KESK) have today stopped working all over the Turkey with slogan "No to reform deception", underling that the rules and regulations laid down in Social Insurance and Personnel Regime will cause encroachment upon the rights.
For the withdrawal of draft bills which KESK members call "reform ambush" and in order the regulations that take laborers' rights under insurance to be made, civil servants have today stopped work and will hold protest and demonstrations. KESK claims that no place has been given to the most fundamentals rights such as the social benefit justice, equality, democratic participation in the rules and regulations the ruling AKP government has been down relating to the employee.
Public servants say "we can stop the government and reverse this course" and points interest-centered approaches that are included in the bills in stead of social benefit, privatization, making the main social services paid, losing the labor's rights and how the people's financial pains have been augmenting more and more. They have gone on strike to warn the government against the health services' to be sold in exchange of money and the retirement to be turned into a daydream.
