ANKARA (DIHA) - The chairman of board of directors Emin Korkmaz who stated that the responsible of the crisis lived in natural gas is the political power who practised distorted policy which depends on outside said that the problem of the energy will be solved with a policy considering public interests and by using new and renewable sources of energy.

The chairman of the board of directors of TMMOB Machine Engineers Emin Korkmaz emphasized that the responsible of the crisis of the energy is political powers who had practised distorted policies which depends on outside. Korkmaz who stated that the gas of the institutions of industry had been cut and now the houses have come to face to face with the cold said that the problem can not be explained by the decreasing of the natural gas by Iran and Russia. Koramaz said that at the origin of the problem lies the inefficient use of the coal and not making any maintenance and works of repair and not increasing the capacity in the lignite centrals and not using sufficiently the local wind, and to be dependent to the one resource to the Russia (65 percent).

'The search for petroleum should be given speed'

Koramaz wanted overview of the agreements which depend on ' take or Pay' conditions, diversification of the sources, speeding the search for natural gas and petroleum in land and sea, using the terminal of the LNG of Marmara Eregli as spike against the cutting of the gas and the investment of Silivri underground Natural gas depository central should be open to exploitation.
