ANKARA (DİHA) - According to data from Turkey Unity of Chambers and Stocks (TOBB), in September 7899 companies were opened, 1972 closed. For the first 10 months, the number of companies closing down has exceeded 23 000.
According to data from TOBB Trade Registration, while there was an increase of 18.87 per cent in the number of companies opened within the 10 months of this year in comparison to the same period of last year, there was a decrease of 0.34 per cent in the number of those shut down. According to this, in the first 10 months, 80 917 companies opened and 23 013 companies were closed down. In the same data given, while there was an increase of 25.56 per cent in the number of companies opened in September in comparison to the same month of 2004, there was a decrease of 5.01 per cent in the number of companies closed down.
