ŞIRNAK (DİHA) -The income which was transferred from Şırnak Coal Mine for 30 years to municipality of Şırnak was cut when the municipality changes hand. The chairman of Şırnak municipality Ahmet Ertak from Democratic Society Party (DTP) said that this decision was taken when the list of Democratic alliance had won in the Şırnak. He said that 'the hindrance of income is overshadowing the works of the municipality, we will go to the governer if he does not accept we will start the process of judge'.
The cut of income of 200.000 YTL from coal mines of Şırnak to the municipality of Şırnak by the order of the governer is going to be carried to court. After Ahmet Ertak from list of Democratic Alliance had won the municipality the income of coal mine which had been transferred to municipality for 30 years had been cut by the order of governer.City Special Administration by the order of the governor had cut the income. The chairman of the Şırnak Municipality Ertak had given information about the issue. He said that the cut of income has oveshadow the works of municipality in the new period and he told that the income had been hindered by the decision of City General Assembly.We are deprived of our right by the order of governor, he said.
If the governor does not accept we will go to the court
Ertak who stated that to keep out the coal mines out of the city borders is to deprived the municipality from its income said that 'in the conversation with the governor about coal mine the governor said that 'if the coal mine was kept in the borders of the city I will not accept'. After this we said that we will apply to the court and he said to me that if the court would give such a desicion I will look at it. We will go to the governor with a map which is accepted by everyone. If he did not accept we will go to the court , he said.
