ŞANLIURFA (DİHA) - 'Navê Xwe Binivîse'( Write your name) named Kurdish short film which was shot by a group of students from Cukurova University, will be presented to taste of spectators.

'Navê Xwe Binivîse'( Write your name) named Kurdish short film which was shot by a group of students from Cukurova University is prepared to be presented to spectators. Tirej Ax, Dirokzan Uskan and Serin Rojbaj are in the leading role of the film whose director is Redi Ax. The film which created an autonomous atmosphere with its subject, takes as a subject a day life of Dirokzan who attends an university in foreign land. The film which gives chance of questioning his all life in a day, the system created by giving number and name by birth and the emphasis that one can not escape from this, is being brought in the foreground.

Dirokzan begin by tearing book to escape from his bad thoughts and try to clear this thoughts from his personality and identity. Dirokzan tries to return to his childhood which is a numberless and nameless state of human being with this way.

' We want to increase the enthusiasm of cinema in Urfa'

Redi Ax, the director of film, by stating that they began shooting of film on september 2005 and completed the shooting within 15 day, said that '' We comleted shooting of film in 15 day, but waited 2 month for technical problems. Long movies has not been very advanced in Kurdish cinema. But we see advancement with enthusiam and emotion in short movies. We want to open the way of movie fans with this film which is a sort of experiment and to encourage them to shoot film. The aim of making assembling of it in Urfa is to create cinema excitement in such a place which is a center of culture.''

Identity and existence

Diroknas Uskan, an actor of the film, also said that '' Redi Ax had come to my house with a small camera and many copies of identity in his hand and said that he has such a project. And said to me '' play a role as you live, you don't need to play a part'', and I accepted. Evaluating content of the film, Uskan, by stating that for they want to show that identity is a problem of existence for all human beings, they did not give place to language and talking in the film, told that '' But ahead of the film we made an evaluation with friends about whether Kurdish will be spoken or not in the film. Because when we talk our mother tongue Kurdish at outside we face rough lookings. With these glances turned over us the system almost was forcing us to speak in its language. But we did not use language in the film for it to have universal motifs.''
