İSTANBUL (DİHA) - 'III: Richard', common production of Nottara Theatre in Bucharest and G.A. Petculescu Theatre in Resita will be staged in Ankara as a guest of State Theatres.
''III: Richard'' which was written by Roman play writer Matei Visniec living in France, will be performed by Roman Theatre Group in Akun Stage in Ankara State Theatre on 21 April at 20.00. The play which tells the story of Russian Director Mayerhold who was killed in 1940 in prison by the order of Stalin , will be staged as common production of Nottara Theatre in Bucharest and G.A. Petculescu Theatre in Resita.
The play which French director Michel Vivier leads, Alexander Repan, Malina Petre, Ioan hajduk, Sorin Cocis, Camelia Ghinea, Iustina Prisacaru, Florin Ruicu, Constantin Berivoicescu, Sorin Fruntelata and Stefan Abrudan will play the basic roles. Mayerhold had wanted to stage III. Richard named work of Shakespeare but his work was prohibited in S.S.C.B.
