İSTANBUL (DİHA) - '' An Accidental Death of Anarchist'' which tell ironically secret relations in that time's Italy and set off from events taking place in security department in Milano in 1960's will be staged in Kurdish with the title '' Mirina Anarsisteki''. Kemal Orgun who translated the play to Kurdish and lead it, draws attention to similarities between two countries by comparing those experienced in Turkey and those told by Dario Fo.

There are some important points which increase importance of Dario Fo's '' An Accidental Death of Anarchist'' for Teatra Jiyana theatre group of Mesopotomia Culture Center (MKM). The first is that it is them who will firstly stage the play in Kurdish. Secondly They are staging an important work of theatre history while entering to their 15th year. Lastly the fact that the play keeps its currency due to spark of Semdinli incidences in the period when they started rehearsal. The group which sees these as opportunity, will stage '' An Accidental Death of Anarchist'' on 21 May for the first time in Kurdish.

The play staged with insistence of Akgul

The play '' An Accidental Death of Anarchist'' tells 1960s' Italy. The play develops over killing of a person who is a member of anarchist group in police station and question all power focal points beginning from security system. A bomb blasts in train station. Polices show the anarchist who works in station as a worker as the person who put the bomb. Pissani, police inspector, throws the anarchist from window and kills him. But the event is reflected as if the anarchist committed suicide. Meanwhile a mad person brought to the station during the questioning realises texture of incident by anlysing the system. The play which tells secret relations of security, judge, media and politics represents good example of black humor.

Insistence of Selim Akgul, leading stage player, has an important role in staging the play in Kurdish. Akgul wants director Kemal Orgun to translate this play to Kurdish in 2003-2004 theatre season. But Orgun hesitates to stage this play and this results from his worry to find a mad person to play the mad. But insistences of Akgul had persuaded him and led him to translate. Then rehearsals comes.

Deep state

The play have serious differences from other plays performed before by the group. It carries risk for a group, who put up plays inspired from daily life of Kurds and whose members change continously, to put up such a play. It requires the group to display its difference from others for the play is very popular, and staged in different parts of world at different times. Director Kemal Orgun said that their aim is not to perform a classic play but on the contrary it has importance since it corresponds to up-to-date. He added that:

'' When Dario Fo composed this play, there was a domination of deep state which was at its highest point. There was a gladio which interferes to everywhere . Dario Fo starts from this point. When we came to present, the events experienced in Italy in 1960s take place in Turkey may be two times bigger than those of the Italy. The play is unique since it preserves its currency and corresponds to problems we live.''
